Johnson Farmhouse is a comfortable, roomy 2-bedroom, 1-bath house. It is an historic farmhouse, built when the Corley area was first settled in the 1920s. Claudia Johnson occupied the house for many years. She was admired as an excellent cattlewoman. Many of her descendants still live in the area.
The screened back porch, everyones favorite room for gathering, enjoying the fresh, invigorating mountain air, and watching deer and rabbits cross the yard.
On cool evenings, light a fire in the fireplace. There is satellite TV, a blu-ray player, and wi-fi. Board games and books are available.
The dining room table seats 6 and expands to seat 8. A futon makes into a double bed.
The kitchen is equipped with refrigerator ice maker, coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven with pop-up toaster, dishes for 8, silverware for 8, knife set, pots, pans, baking sheets. It is stocked with coffee, tea, paper towels, storage bags, garbage bags, etc. Salt, pepper, and condiments are also available.
The master bedroom opens onto the screened porch and is furnished with a queen bed with Stearnes and Foster mattress. Super-comfortable!
The blue bedroom is furnished with a double bed with Stearnes and Foster mattress.
Double sinks, tub and shower. Lots of towels and washcloths.
The large back yard is perfect for games. A badminton / volleyball set is available. There is a fire pit for roasting marshmallows.
